This class is for the older intermediate student, not a beginner with high aptitude, knowledge, and proficiency playing the piano and would like to continue to practice increasing their proficiency. In this fast-paced class, students will learn to play major scales, theory, techniques, reading, and composing music that will introduce chord progressions and scales to their piano aptitude.  Pre-Requisite: Can be a new and returning student who has intermediate knowledge and playing skill, not beginner level, must have knowledge of some chord theory, sight-reading level 1 or above. This series consists of engaging and interactive classes that introduce students to the complex world of code through music and game design. In these workshops, students will learn how to code using two of today’s cutting-edge programming languages Python and JavaScript. The technical abilities gained in these workshops can be used to build highly marketable tech skills.

By the end of this course, students will know how to design, develop, execute a program and create a multi-track song within Earsketch. Students will also gain proficiency in developing Python programs using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and creating interactive Games!
