November 21, 2015
Please Join Cecilia Shirley, Victoria Montanez, with AABInternational November 21, 2015 11:00 am to Noon.
To accredit an institution means that the institution certified meets the standards that qualify the graduates of that institution for the next higher level of quailification or to a specialized institution of professional practice. That is exactly what AABI does! AABI stands for the Aviation Accreditation Board International, and it sets standards for all aerospace programs taught in colleges and universities in the United States and around the world. From 11:00am until 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 21, please join us in the Multipurpose room of the Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center, because we will have 2 extraordinary keynote speakers. They are Cecilia "Ceci" Shirley, Vice President of Operations for AABI, and Victoria "Vic" Montanez, Senior Administrator. The importance of attending this particular lecture is to realize the value that AABI provides to prospective students and their parents in being assured that AABI accredited colleges and universites meet acceptable standards of aviation and educational quality. Organizations who are members of AABI include: ALPA, Airbus, Alaska Air Group, American Airlines, Cape Air, Auburn University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Hampton University, Delta Air Lines, Fedex, Jet Blue, Boeing, and more. Both of the keynote speakers are brilliant, Ceci attended Columbus College, and is a member of the National Scholars Honor Society, and Victoria attended Auburn University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Technology and Design. Prior to attending Saturday's Speaker Series lecture, for more information concerning AABI, please visit the AABI website at www.aabi.aero.
